Galashiels Swimming Pool was officially opened on 3rd April
1983 by H.R.H. Princess Anne.
Situated a short distance from the town centre, Galashiels
Pool is a bright, modern facility, with crystal clear water,
immaculate changing facilities and a warm Scottish Borders
welcome.
There are a range of activities available in what is a varied
and exciting programme which is constantly being updated:-
Special sessions for over 50's three times a week -
Mondays 9 - 10am
Wednesdays 9.30 - 10.30am
Fridays 9.30 - 10.30am
Juvenile lessons twice daily -
4.00 - 4.30pm
4.30 - 5.00pm
Aquafit for disabled swimmers -
Wednesdays 6.30 - 7.15pm
Lunchtime swim (for serious bathers) -
Daily 12.00 - 1.30pm
Bronze Medallion and Pool lifeguard lifesaving classes

6 week and 12 week courses by appointment.
Inflatable sessions -
Saturday 1.30 - 2.30pm
Sunday 1.30 - 2.30pm
Ladies only "over 18" -
Wednesdays 7.15 - 8.15pm

There are also many clubs which use the facility on a regular
